‘Game of thrones', the blockbuster serial 2nd season, globally known and praised, is arriving to Dubrovnik this autumn. Although all the information regarding the screening of this American medieval fantasy television series are still kept secret, it is believed that the filming will take place on spectacular locations of the island of Lokrum, City Walls, fortresses of Minceta, Lovrijenac and many other unique settings. All professionals involved in the preparation of this challenging project will have to sign the secrecy agreement, thus guaranteeing the confidentiality of the project. The 'Game of Thrones' is the first book in 'A Song of Ice and Fire', series of epic fantasy novels by American author George RR Martin, published in 1996. The television series 'Games of Thrones' has been created by HBO, premiering on 17 April 2011. From the start, the series has been popular, not only among the most dedicated fans, but also notorious film critics.
